Your Inspiration Tree profile could become much more than a member page. Expanded Creator Profiles could give creators a customizable public portfolio, résumé, promotional hub, professional tools, analytics, and ways to showcase both original work and what they can create from someone else's ideas.
Creators appreciate knowing when their work connects with someone. Likes or reactions could provide an easy way to show that appreciation without requiring a discussion reply. The challenge is finding the right balance between encouraging participation, helping discovery, and preventing The Inspiration Tree from becoming another popularity contest.
Follow more than creators. Follow individual Seeds, Collections, discussions, or even an entire genealogy branch as an idea continues to evolve. A future Activity Feed could then show meaningful updates based on what you deliberately chose to follow, rather than what an algorithm decides should capture your attention.
Creative Tool Tags could let creators easily share the software, equipment, materials, settings, and techniques used to create a Seed. They could also help members discover creators using the same tools, learn how work they admire was made, and find new techniques and creative possibilities to explore.
Collections could let creators and curators turn individual Seeds into something larger: novels, albums, exhibitions, playlists, portfolios, themed collections, and more. They could also provide the foundation for private and paid creative experiences while preserving the genealogy that connects every Seed to its inspiration.
