I'm Rick, and I founded this site.

I wanted to build something that explores creativity, particularly the path or genealogy of how ideas evolved. For me, ideas are almost always sparked by something I see, touch, or hear - very often someone else's idea or creative work gives me that inspiration. I thought being able to trace that path would be interesting and also provide creative prompts to those who sometimes get Writer's block (creative block).

Long-term, I also hope to build a creative platform where creatives can promote themselves and even provide an income stream based on their talents and contributions. I dabble in writing (fiction & non-fiction), photography, digital art, website development, a bit of programming... and have touched on other creative forms. I LOVE to create.

I currently live in Ohio, and most of my professional career was spent in marketing and business management.
